Brodsky on the Tax Cap and Municipal Finance

Last month, 19 school districts saw their budgets voted down because they did not get the 60 percent supermajority required to exceed the property tax cap. Now, they?re getting a second chance at voter approval. But it?s the first look at the effects of the property tax cap passed last year. Former Assemblyman Richard Brodsky discussed the tax cap and other financial concerns of local governments.
